E3 SWITCHES
A range of push button switches with command-driven serial interfaces which integrate a graphical DFSTN 64 by 32-pixel or 32 by 24-pixel liquid crystal display with RGB background lighting.
The push button switches are controlled via a serial interface to the integrated MSC™ electronics, which control the interface, display and backlighting. Each switch self-initialises without external setup commands. Data only needs to be transmitted when a change is made to the display or background colours.
Only six contact terminals are used to provide power, clock and data lines as well as the switch contacts.
