Remote Renewable Energy Monitor
This product is a remote monitoring device specifically built for the sustainable energy market.
It acts as a data logger for monitoring the charging of a lithium battery pack for solar and wind energy, made to monitor the charge status of the batteries and charge power usage. This allows the customer to pre-emptively predict battery failures and repair.
The main features of the Interface board included:
- Logging battery power - Records battery charging / discharging usage and periodically sends update reports to central hub for analysis.
- DC-AC hybrid inverters - Allows system to run either from battery pack or from grid if battery level drops.
- Remote Reporting - Periodic reporting of system status and logs to the central hub over either Wi-Fi or 4G depending upon connectivity.
- Bluetooth - Used for local maintenance and system configuration.
- GPS - Used to identify to central hub the exact location of the logger.
